Frequently Asked Questions

How many people are allowed on the boat?

The maximum number of passengers on the boat is 6 people. This includes children.

Is a captain included in the price?

Yes, a USCG licensed captain is included. 

 

Where is parking? 

Street parking is available on Harbour Post Dr near our pickup spot. Paid parking is also available at the Post Harbour Place garage and the 404 Harbour Pl Dr Tampa Parking garage.

Where is the pickup location?

Our pickup location is the Harbour Island public dock, at the end of Harbour Post Dr, directly in front of the roundabout. You will receive a snapshot of the exact location in your confirmation email.

Can I bring food? 

Yes, of course!  It is best to bring prepared food like sandwiches, charcuterie platters, or finger food.  You’ll be on a moving boat, so items can fall over easily and spill. Fried chicken is not allowed on board, the crumbs and grease are difficult to remove. Cleaning charges apply if the boat is left messy.

 

Can I bring beverages, including alcohol?

Yes, alcohol is allowed with the exception of red wine (which stains easily). We also provide a small cooler with ice and a champagne bucket (if need).

 

Do you provide life jackets?

Yes, we do provide life jackets for all ages. Kids 12 and under are required by law to wear a life jacket. We have youth lifejackets available for children 50-90 lbs. For children under 50 lbs, you will need to bring your own. All adult and youth life jackets are underneath the forward seat.

 

How early should I arrive? 

Arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your scheduled charter. Please let us know ahead of time if you will need extra time to decorate.

 

Are pets allowed?

Yes, we do allow pets. A fee may be charged if there are any messes or damages left behind.

 

Can I bring decorations?  

Yes, you may bring decorations.  Decorations may be hung in the interior of the boat only.  Please be sure that any decorations you bring will not distract the driver—or hinder his/her view—on the boat. No confetti is allowed. The use of duct tape, packing tape, or any other type of heavy-duty adhesive on the boat is not permitted. Kindly remove all decorations at the end of your rental. 

 

Do you provide ice or water?  

We do provide ice in a small cooler. However if you would like to purchase additional items like beverages or snacks, The Market at Harbour Place is conveniently located right across from our boat.

Do you offer military and teacher discounts?

Yes, we currently offer a 10% discount for military personnel and teachers. Please contact us via phone call or text before booking online.

 

What is the Change and Cancellation policy?

A 100% refund is issued for cancellations up to 24 hours before your scheduled time. Changes are allowed anytime up to 24 hours in advance.

Rain Cancellation Policy

We will reschedule or refund 100% of your charter fee if at 9am on the day of your charter, the iPhone Weather app says there is a 40% or higher chance of rain during the specific hours of your charter.  Weather apps are notoriously inaccurate especially several days out, which is why we wait until the day of the charter to make the call.
